Updates from teams!
•    Rowing won all 9 of their races this past weekend!  Congrats to rowing
•    Track and Field: Home meet this past weekend, girls won
Juicy Campus Update
•    Athletics advisory council
•    Student council update: Sarah
•    Sarah found that UVA will ask Juicy Campus to take UVA off the website as one of the selected schools, also UVA is lobbying Facebook and Myspace to not advertise Juicy Campus
•    In the meeting with Jane in the Athletics department, actions regarding Juicy campus have been discussed.  Jane will set up a method for people to receive help if they have been targeted by the website in the form of emotional or legal support. The Athletics Department advises athletes to condone the website amongst their team, at least informally.
•    University will not ban the site due to research purposes
•    Formal complaint: Filed by Catherine
•    2 senators in Connecticut and NJ:  fighting legal battle
o    Article was handed out
•    DON’T USE THE SITE!!!
•    When you hear the site talked about, tell your team not to use
•    it, but don’t promote the site if you team has not yet used it.
Student strategic plan for college
•    Advising suggestions- Advisors who are interested in helping the students and trying to actually work with them productively
•    Curriculum suggestions No 8 am classes, no classes during practice time
•    Study abroad
•    Comments for improving the college?
Guides update:
•    Ryan Hurley, Kase Luzar, and Kyle Rudzinski have been heading up the U guides regarding tours of athletic facilities.
•    It involves a tour of JPJ and Scott Stadium
•    A Uguide and an athlete lead it
•    This Friday, April 11th is the first one at 1pm in the lobby of JPJ, lasts 50 min-1hr
